It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to welcome the 23rd batch MBBS students of North Bengal Medical College those who have been selected and admitted into this institution. From the very inception of this Medical College, I have been keeping in touch with the different academic programs of this institution. This Medical College is continuing its journey for the last eighteen years and within this period, many young medical graduates came out successfully and proved their competence in different disciplines of medical science in the country and abroad with a good reputation.
This institution bears congenial academic environment for learning medical science. I do believe that the newcomers will also be benefitted in their learning process facilitated by the experienced faculty members and teachers, including those who have been serving here for a long time.
Ultimately, they will achieve the objectives of becoming a good, honest and competent doctor which is a common mission of students and teachers of this institution. They must devote themselves to learn more about the medical sciences in the process of developing expertise in the different fields of medical sciences. The must follow and obey the medical ethics, and curriculum to widen their attitude to serve the humanity. It is very essential to maintain discipline in their personal life to expand themselves dedicated, sincere and honest medical professionals in the future days to come.
